Virginia Housing preps $560 million sale of mortgage bonds for Dec. 11

New York, Dec. 3 - The Virginia Housing Development Authority is scheduled to price $560 million of series 2012C commonwealth mortgage bonds on Dec. 11, according to a preliminary official statement.

The offering includes $90 million of C-STEM I bonds, $80 million of C-STEM II bonds, $80 million of C-STEM III bonds and $310 million of C-STEM IV bonds.

The C-STEM I bonds are due Jan. 24, 2013, and the C-STEM II bonds are due Feb. 28, 2013. The C-STEM III bonds are due April 1, 2013, and the C-STEM IV bonds are due May 23, 2013.

The bonds (Aaa/VMIG 1/AAA/A-1+/) will be sold competitively.

Proceeds will be used to finance mortgage loans and refund previously issued debt.
