Fitch gives underlying A to Va. Hospital Center bonds

Fitch Ratings said it assigned an underlying rating of A to about $142 million outstanding Industrial Development Authority of Arlington County, Va., (Virginia Hospital Center Arlington Health System) variable-rate hospital revenue refunding bonds, series 2005.

At the time the series 2005 bonds were issued, Fitch was not asked to assign an underlying rating to these bonds. The bonds are insured by Financial Guaranty Insurance Co.

In addition, Fitch affirmed the rating on about $13 million of outstanding series 2001 bonds at A. The outlook is positive.
