Banco do Brasil sets size at benchmark for dollar perpetual notes

Atlanta, Jan. 11 - Brazil's Banco do Brasil SA has set the size for its planned issue of dollar-denominated perpetual notes (/BB/) at benchmark, a market source said.

BB Securities, BNP Paribas, Citigroup, HSBC and Standard Chartered Bank are the bookrunners for the Rule144A and Regulation S offering, which is expected to price as soon as this week.

Banco do Brasil is a lender based in Brasilia, Brazil.
