By Paul A. Harris

St. Louis, Jan. 6 - Videotron Ltd. set price talk for its C$200 million offering of 10-year senior notes (Ba2/BB-) at the 7¼% area on Wednesday, according to market sources.

The company had been the subject of a non-deal roadshow, which wrapped up on Tuesday.

The notes are expected to price on Thursday.

RBC Capital Markets, Scotia Capital and TD Securities are joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A offering.

The notes come with five years of call protection.

Proceeds will be used to repay bank debt.
