Victory Memorial reports $1.19 million April operating loss

Portland, Ore., June 4 - Victory Memorial Hospital posted a $1.19 million April operating loss on total operating revenues of $5.38 million, according to its monthly operating report filed Wednesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The company had cash and cash equivalents of $3.15 million at the end of April, up from $2.76 million at the beginning of the month.

Victory Memorial, a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based hospital, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 15, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-44387.
