Victory Memorial hearing for approval of $40 million asset sale adjourned to May 7

Portland, Ore., May 1 - Victory Memorial Hospital's hearing for approval of its proposed $40 million sale of some of its assets was adjourned to May 7, according to a Thursday notice posted by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York.

The hearing was originally scheduled for Thursday.

Victory Memorial, a Brooklyn, N.Y.-based hospital, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 15, 2006. Its Chapter 11 case number is 06-44387.
