Viasystems to start roadshow Tuesday for $550 million secured notes

By Paul A. Harris

Portland, Ore., April 16 - Viasystems Group, Inc. will begin a roadshow on Tuesday for a $550 million offering of seven-year senior secured notes, according to a market source.

The deal is set to price late in the present week or early in the week ahead.

Goldman Sachs & Co., Wells Fargo Securities LLC and Stifel Nicolaus & Co. Inc. are the joint bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The St. Louis-based company plans to use the proceeds to fund the previously announced acquisition of DDi Corp. and to redeem $220 million of 12% senior secured notes due 2015.

Viasystems is a provider of complex multilayer printed circuit boards, wire harnesses and electro-mechanical services.
