ViaSat to price $600 million eight-year senior notes this week

Portland, Ore., Sept. 5 – ViaSat, Inc. plans to price $600 million of eight-year senior notes (B3/BB-) later this week, according to a market source.

BofA Merrill Lynch is leading the Rule 144A and Regulation S offering.

The notes come with three years of call protection.

The Carlsbad, Calif.-based provider of satellite and other wireless networking systems plans to use the proceeds to fund the tender offer for its 6 7/8% senior notes due 2020.
