Vertis Communications hires GA Keen to market industrial properties

Pittsburgh, June 27 - Vertis Communications hired GA Keen Realty Advisors, the real estate division of Great American Group, Inc., to market and sell five industrial properties in Georgia, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Ontario through a bankruptcy sale process, according to a Great American Group news release.

Great American said the properties are among the last remaining assets of Vertis Communications.

"The properties are each well-positioned in strategic locations and are ready for immediate occupancy," GA Keen co-president Matthew Bordwin said in the release.

"These attributes, along with the excess land available in certain locations, create exciting investment and/or redevelopment opportunities."

The properties include:

• A 51,200 square-foot industrial warehouse in Atlanta, with 25% of the building consisting of office space;

• A 23,000 square-foot industrial distribution property in Newark, N.J.;

• An industrial manufacturing property on more than 28 acres with in Saugerties, N.Y. This property also includes 105 acres of vacant land;

• A 93,884 square-foot industrial manufacturing facility on 5.83 acres in Medina, Ohio; and

• A 154,149 square-foot industrial warehouse on 17.61 acres in Stevensville, Ont.

The properties can be sold individually or as a package. Great American said offers are now being considered.

Vertis Holdings, Inc., a Baltimore-based marketing communications company, filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 10, 2012 in the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the District of Delaware. Its Chapter 11 case number is 12-12821.
