Verizon to redeem 4.2% notes due 2046 at par on Sept. 22

Los Angeles, Aug. 23 – Verizon Communications Inc. announced it will redeem all of its outstanding 4.2% notes due Sept. 22, 2046 on Sept. 22.
The notes will be redeemed at par plus accrued interest.
The New York-based telecommunications company originally issued $2,059,000,000 of the notes.
