Verizon sets redemption price for $750 million 1.25% notes at 100.103

Norfolk, Va., Sept. 25 – Verizon Communications Inc. said it will redeem the entire outstanding principal amount of its $750 million 1.25% notes due Nov. 3, 2014 on Sept. 29 at 100.103% of par plus accrued interest.

The redemption price is equal to the sum of the present values of the remaining scheduled payments of principal and interest, discounted to the redemption date on a semiannual basis at Treasuries plus 15 basis points, plus accrued interest to the redemption date.

The redemption price was calculated on the third business day preceding the redemption date.

The telecommunications company is based in New York.
