Verizon sets redemption price for $700 million 8.75% notes at 140.206

Kansas City, Kan., Nov. 15 - Verizon Communications Inc. released the price for the redemption of its $700 million of 8.75% notes due Nov. 1, 2018 in a notice on Thursday.

The price will be 140.206 plus accrued interest to Dec. 17, the redemption date.

Following the redemption, $1.3 billion of the notes will remain outstanding.

U.S. Bank, NA is the agent.

Verizon is a New York City-based telecommunications company.
