New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 6.25 billion of bonds in two tranches

Morgantown, W.Va., Aug. 29 – Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 6.25 billion of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 3.75 billion of Bondes D with a term of 1,778 days. The bonds priced at 99.29006 for a spread of 17 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 12.6 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 2.5 billion of its 10% Bonos due November 2036. The bonds priced at 129.58200 to yield 7.16%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 8.89 billion.
