New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 8.5 billion, UDI 700 million of bonds

Morgantown, W.Va., Jan. 24 – Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 8.5 billion and UDI 700 million of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 8.5 billion of 6½% five-year Bonos. The bonds priced at 96.191 to yield 7.36%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 15.25 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for UDI 700 million of 4½% 10-year UDI Bonos. The bonds priced at 111.57 to yield 3.02%. The demand for these bonds totaled UDI 1.1 billion.
