New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 7.5 billion, UDI 300 million of bonds

Tacoma, Wash., Jan. 3 – Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 7.5 billion and UDI 300 million of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4.5 billion of Bondes D with a term of 1,778 days. The bonds priced at 99.02093 for a spread of 23 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 15.07 billion.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 3 billion of 7¾% 30-year Bonos. The bonds priced at 97.6947 to yield 7.96%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 6.57 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for UDI 300 million of 4% 30-year UDI Bonos. The bonds priced at 101.95 to yield 3.89%. The demand for these bonds totaled UDI 732.82 million.
