Columbus, Ohio, March 15 – Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 7 billion of bonds in two tranches in an auction on Tuesday.
The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4.5 billion of 1,771-day Bondes D. The bonds priced at 98.97431 for a spread of 23 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 18.1 billion.
The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 2.5 billion of 7¾% 30-year Bonos. The bonds priced at 109.16 to yield 6.99%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 7.69 billion.
