New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions Ps. 5.5 billion of bonds in two tranches

Chicago, Jan. 24 - Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 5.5 billion of bonds in two tranches at an auction on Tuesday.

The bank accepted bids for Ps. 1.5 billion of Bondes D due in 1,799 days. The bonds priced at 98.48698 for a sobretasa yield of 41 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 5.52 billion.

The bank also accepted bids for Ps. 4 billion of Bonos 30A due November 2038. The bonds priced at 111.90002, and the yield was 7.47%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 9.41 billion.
