New York, Sept. 20 - Banco de Mexico sold Ps. 5.25 billion and 600 million UDIs of bonds in an auction on Tuesday.
The bank accepted bids for Ps. 1.25 billion of Bondes D4 with a term of 1,806 days. The bonds priced at 99.08372 for a "sobretasa" spread of 20 basis points. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 4.7 billion.
The bank accepted bids for Ps. 4 billion of 8½% Bonos 30A due November 2038. The bonds priced at 106.3231 to yield 7.93%. The demand for these bonds totaled Ps. 8.45 billion.
The bank also accepted bids for 600 million UDIs of 4% UDI Bonos 30A due November 2040. The bonds priced at 100.8627 to yield 3.95%. The demand for these bonds totaled 1.24 billion UDIs.
