New York, April 13 - The Banco de Mexico announced the results of its weekly auction of bonds. Tuesday's sale came in two parts, one for 5.5 billion pesos and one for 450 million UDIs.
Mexico accepted bids for 5.5 billion pesos of 9% Bonos 3A bonds with a maturity of December 2012. The bonds priced at 107.80518 to yield 5.85%. Demand totaled 14.82 billion pesos in this auction.
The bank also accepted bids for 450 million UDIs of 5½% bonds with a maturity of December 2012. The bonds priced at 109.34 to yield 1.96%. A total of 1,210,630,000 UDIs of demand was received in this auction.
