New York, Dec. 21 - The Banco de Mexico announced the results of its weekly auction of bonds. Tuesday's sale came in two parts, one for 4.5 billion pesos and one for 450 million UDIs.
Mexico accepted bids for 4.5 billion pesos of 9% Bonos 3A with a maturity of June 2013. The bonds priced at 108.30157 to yield 5.44%. A total of 11.06 billion pesos of demand was received for this auction.
In a second tranche, the bank accepted bids for 450 million UDIs of 5½% bonds with a maturity of December 2012. The bonds priced at 108.41844 to yield 1.27%. A total of 1,066,840,000 UDIs of demand was received in this auction.
