New Issue: Banco de Mexico auctions 5 billion pesos, 600 million UDIs of bonds

New York, Oct. 19 - The Banco de Mexico announced the results of its weekly auction of bonds on Tuesday for 5 billion pesos in two tranches and one tranche for 600 million UDIs.

Mexico accepted bids for 1 billion pesos of five-year Bondes D and 4 billion pesos of 8½% Bonos 30A with a maturity of November 2038. The former priced at 99.34056 to yield 0.15% while the latter bonds priced at 117.98487 to yield 7.03%. A total of 2.25 billion pesos and 10.15 billion pesos of demand, respectively, was received for the tranches.

The bank also accepted bids for 600 million UDIs of 4% bonds with a maturity of November 2040. The bonds priced at 121.4795 to yield 2.93%. A total of 1,791,690,000 UDIs of demand was received in this auction.
