S&P puts all rated Argentine banks on CreditWatch negative

S&P said it placed the ratings of all rated Argentine banks on CreditWatch with negative implications, citing the recent decision by the Argentine government to extend the maturity of short-term debt.

The banks are Banco de Galicia Y Buenos Aires SA, Banco Patagonia SA, Banco de la Provincia de Buenos Aires and Banco Hipotecario SA. Their B- ratings are unchanged.
