Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires cancels $23.12 million of notes

Pittsburgh, Jan. 21 - Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires SA has canceled $23.12 million of its notes due 2014, according to a company news release.

The notes were acquired at a price of 80.0478%.

Following the cancellation, the Buenos Aires bank said $161.84 million of the notes will be outstanding.
