Argentina's Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires to redeem $22.7 million of notes

Pittsburgh, Aug. 8 - Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires SA will redeem $25.36 million of its notes due 2014 at par on Aug. 15, according to a company news release.

Banco de Galicia said the recall will be funded with some of the proceeds from its $175.6 million common stock offering.

The amount of notes to be called includes $22.7 million in principal amount and $2.66 million in interest.

Following the call, there will be $339.9 million of the notes outstanding.

Banco de Galicia is a Buenos Aires-based bank.
