Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires buys back and cancels $869,000 notes due 2010

Pittsburgh, Nov. 8 - Banco de Galicia y Buenos Aires SA bought back and canceled $869,000 of its notes due 2010, according to a company news release.

Following the cancellation, the Buenos Aires-based bank will have $286.72 million of the notes outstanding.
