Vascular Solutions, Diomed settle trademark, trade secret litigation

Tampa, Fla., June 23 - Vascular Solutions, Inc. and Diomed, Inc. have settled the trademark and trade secret litigation between the parties and all issues surrounding Diomed's marked sheath patents.

The terms of the settlement are confidential.

The settlement does not affect the ongoing dispute between the parties regarding infringement of Diomed's U.S. Patent No. 6,398,777.

Based in Andover, Mass., Diomed is a subsidiary of Diomed Holdings, Inc.

Vascular Solutions is a medical device company located in Minneapolis.
