Qwest replaces representative on VarTec committee

Washington, Nov. 16 - Qwest Communications Corp. replaced its representative on VarTec Telecom Inc.'s official committee of unsecured creditors.

Jane Frey replaced Andrew Sherman, according to paperwork filed Tuesday with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

VarTec, based in Dallas, filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 1. Its Chapter 11 case number is 04-81694.
