VarTec's final hearing on DIP scheduled for Nov. 22

Washington, Nov. 8 - VarTec Telecom Inc.'s final hearing for its $30 million debtor-in-possession financing is scheduled for Nov. 22, according to a Monday filing with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Texas.

The Rural Telephone Finance Cooperative is the lender. The Dallas-based telecommunications provider has interim access to $9.26 million.

The company filed for bankruptcy on Nov. 1. VarTec's Chapter 11 case number is 04-81694.
