Moody's rates Banco de Credito notes Baa2

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned Baa2 local and foreign-currency senior debt ratings to the fixed rate senior notes to be issued by Banco de Crédito del Perú.

The outlook is stable.

The ratings are based on the bank's Baa2 global local-currency rating and consider the bank's stand-alone baseline credit assessment of Baa3, the agency said.

The last rating action on the bank was on Sept. 8, 2010, when Moody's assigned a Baa2 rating to the bank's global senior foreign-currency notes due in 2020.
