UBS plans five-year trigger gears linked to Vanguard FTSE EM fund

Chicago, April 7 – UBS AG, London Branch plans to price 0% trigger gears due April 30, 2021 linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 1.6 times to 1.7 times any fund gain. The exact upside gearing will be set at pricing.

Investors will receive par if the fund falls by up to 25% and will be fully exposed to any losses if the fund finishes below the 75% trigger level.

UBS Financial Services Inc. is the agent.

The notes will price on April 26 and settle on April 29.

The Cusip number is 90275R315.
