Chicago, Dec. 30 – Royal Bank of Canada priced $3.25 million of 0% trigger performance securities due Dec. 31, 2020 linked to the Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets exchange-traded fund, according to a 424B2 filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
If the fund finishes above its initial level, the payout at maturity will be par of $10 plus 161% of the gain.
If the fund falls by up to the 75% trigger level, the payout will be par.
Otherwise, investors will be fully exposed to any losses.
