Moody's rates Cruzeiro notes Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba1 long-term foreign-currency rating to Banco Cruzeiro do Sul SA's $100 million senior unsecured notes due August 2009, which are being issued under the $1 billion global euro medium-term note program.

The outlook is stable.
