Fine Capital sells more shares of ValueVision, stake drops to 7.1%

Charlotte, N.C., Sept. 2 - Investors led by Fine Capital Partners, LP lowered their stake in ValueVision Media, Inc. to 7.1% from a 9.3% reported on July 18, according to a schedule 13D filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The investors sold 742,238 shares between July 18 and Aug. 28 priced from $2.30 to $3.17 each.

Fine Capital and its affiliates beneficially own approximately 2.36 million shares of the Eden Prairie, Minn., direct marketing company.

On July 18, the company reported that Fine Capital sold 424,300 shares of ValueVision between June 24 and July 17 for $2.96 to $4.07 each.
