Valmont Industries to start roadshow Wednesday for $150 million 10-year notes

St. Louis, April 20 - Valmont Industries Inc. will start a roadshow Wednesday for a $150 million offering of 10-year senior subordinated notes (Ba3/B+), according to syndicate sources.

The deal is expected to price on April 29.

Credit Suisse First Boston will run the books on the Rule 144A offering. Banc of America Securities, BNY Securities and Wachovia Securities are co-managers.

The notes will come with five years of call protection.

The company will also obtain a new $175 million credit facility.

Proceeds will be used to fund the acquisition of Newmark International and to repay debt.

The Omaha, Neb.-based company is a manufacturer of engineered support structures for irrigation equipment and a provider of coating services.
