New Issue: Mexico's Banco Compartamos issues Ps. 1 billion five-year certificados bursatiles

Tacoma, Wash., Oct. 14 - Banco Compartamos, SA, Institucion de Banca Multiple issued Ps. 1 billion of certificados bursatiles bancarios (local bank bonds) in the local debt capital markets, according to a bank news release.

The certificados bursatiles (/mxAA/AA-(mex)) have a tenor of five years and an interest rate of TIIE plus 130 basis points.

The bank said the issuance reinforces its financial and liquidity position.

Banco Compartamos is a Mexico City-based bank specializing in microfinance.
