Banco Central do Brasil decides to decrease the Selic rate to 8%

Minneapolis, July 12 - Banco Central do Brasil's Monetary Policy Committee (Copom) announced that given the fragility of the global economy, it has decided to decrease the Selic rate to 8%, without bias.

The committee said that the meeting minutes will be released July 19.
