Brazil leaves Selic rate unchanged at 13.75%

New York, Dec. 11 - The Banco Central do Brasil held its basic Selic interest rate unchanged at 13.75% at its meeting on Wednesday, according to a release issued by the bank.

The board of the Brazil central bank examined the possibility of a rate cut based on the uncertainty continuing in the economic environment before deciding unanimously to maintain the Selic rate at 13.75%.
