Banco BMG to issue senior unsecured notes this week

New York, Dec. 13 - Banco BMG SA plans to issue senior unsecured notes (Ba3/B+) this week, according to a market source.

The deal is expected to carry an average life of eight years.

Morgan Stanley is running the Rule 144A/Regulation S transaction.

Proceeds will be used to fund growth of the bank's credit portfolio and for general corporate purposes.

Banco BMG is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
