180 Connect shareholders to decide merger with DirecTV July 8

Charlotte, N.C., June 5 - 180 Connect Inc. shareholders will vote on the proposed acquisition of the company by DirecTV Enterprises, LLC at a special meeting on July 8.

The record date for the meeting is June 4, according to a 180 Connect news release.

180 Connect said it expects to mail the definitive proxy statement together with a proxy card to stockholders of record on or about June 6.

In April, 180 Connect agreed to be acquired by DirecTV, Inc. for $1.80 per share in transaction valued at $105 million, including debt.

180 Connect, located in Englewood, Colo., provides installation, integration and fulfillment services to the home entertainment, communications and home integration service industries.

DirecTV is an El Segundo, Calif., provider of digital multichannel television entertainment.
