S&P affirms Banco ABC Brasil

S&P said it affirmed the BB/B global scale and brAA-/brA-1 national scale ratings on Banco ABC Brasil SA.

The outlook is negative.

The agency said the ratings on ABC Brasil reflect its bb stand-alone credit profile, which is based on its concentrated business lines and small market-share, yet stable operating revenues.

ABC Brasil has continued to post sound results and stable operating revenues and outperform its domestic peers through stronger asset quality metrics despite prolonged challenging economic conditions in Brazil, S&P added.
