Moody's: ABC Brasil notes Ba1

Moody's Investors Service said it assigned a Ba1 foreign currency debt rating to the proposed reopening of $300 million 7 7/8% subordinated notes issued in 2010 by Banco ABC Brasil SA.

The outlook is stable.

The agency said the Ba1 foreign currency debt rating is derived from Banco ABC Brasil's Baa3 global local currency deposit rating and takes into account the one-notch differential from the bank's senior rating to reflect the subordination of the proposed notes, as per Moody's notching convention.
