Fitch affirms Banca Comerciala Romana

Fitch Ratings said it has affirmed Banca Comerciala Romana SA's ratings at long-term foreign currency and local currency issuer default BBB with negative outlook.

At the same time, Fitch said it has downgraded the bank's individual rating to D from C/D.

The bank's other ratings are affirmed at short-term foreign currency issuer default rating F3 and support 2, the agency said.

Banca Comerciala Romana's issuer default ratings and support rating are based on the high potential support by its majority shareholder, Erste Group Bank AG (A/stable), in case of need, Fitch said.
