DBRS lifts Banco BPM view to stable

DBRS said it confirmed the ratings of Banco BPM, including its long-term issuer rating of BBB (low) and short-term issuer rating of R-2 (middle).

The agency also said it changed the trend to stable from negative.

DBRS also said it maintained the Bank’s intrinsic assessment at BBB (low) and support assessment at SA3.

The agency also confirmed the BBB (low)/R-2 (middle) issuer ratings of Banca Akros, the corporate and investment banking subsidiary of Banco BPM. That bank's trend was also revised to stable.

Banca Akros is a core component of Banco BPM’s franchise, DBRS said.

These actions follow the agency's annual review of the bank’s credit profile.
