S&P gives A- to Tyco Electronics notes

Standard & Poor’s said it assigned Tyco Electronics Group SA’s proposed senior floating-rate notes due 2016, senior notes due 2019 and senior notes due 2024 an A- issue-level rating.

Parent company TE Connectivity Ltd. will fully and unconditionally guarantee all the issues.

The rating incorporates S&P’s view of the company’s “satisfactory” business risk profile and “minimal” financial risk profile.
