Turkiye Garanti Bankasi board authorizes repurchases of three notes

Columbus, Ohio, April 16 – Turkiye Garanti Bankasi AS’s board of directors authorized it to repurchase capped amounts of notes from three series in one or more open-market transactions, according to a news release.

Specifically, the board authorized the repurchase of up to $150 million of the $750 million of outstanding 5¼% notes due 2022 (ISIN: USM8931TAF68, US900148AD90); $100 million of its $500 million of outstanding 6¼% notes due 2021 (ISIN: USM8931TAA71, US900148AA51); and/or $100 million of outstanding 5 7/8% notes due 2023 (ISIN: XS1576037284, US90014QAB32).

The lender is based in Istanbul.
