Markit reports new weightings, coupon for next Markit CDX EM roll

New York, Sept. 11 – Markit Group Ltd. said it expects to update the weighting of six constituents in the Markit CDX EM index as it rolls to series 22.

The company also said it determined that the coupon for the index will change to 100 basis points.

Venezuela’s weight goes to 8% from 9%, Brazil to 14% from 13%, Chile to 4% from 3%, Mexico to 10% from 9%, Russia to 14% from 13% and Turkey to 13% from 12%.

The composition remains provisional until publication of the final annex for the index.

In other news, there will be no changes for the Markit CDX Latin America index, series 22.
