Turkey registers $8.18 billion debt securities

Des Moines, Aug. 2 - The Republic of Turkey filed an $8.182 billion shelf registration in an S-B/A filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The filing covers debt securities. It includes $6,458,736,000 that were previously registered but unsold.

The proceeds will be used for general financing purposes of Turkey.
