Turkey’s Turkcell buys back $2 million more 5¾% bonds due 2025 at 97

Morgantown, W.Va., Dec. 20 – Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS repurchased a total of $2 million of its 5¾% eurobonds due 2025 on Dec. 19, according to a 6-K filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

The bonds were purchased at an average price of 97 each, for a total of $1,961,083.

The company said its board of directors authorized the repurchase of its eurobonds in July.

Turkcell is a mobile phone company based in Istanbul.
