Turkey’s Turkcell guides up to $1 billion 10-year notes at 6¼% area; pricing expected Wednesday

Atlanta, Oct. 7 – Turkey’s Turkcell Iletisim Hizmetleri AS set talk in the 6¼% area for an offering of $500 million to $1 billion notes due in 10 years, a market source said.

The notes could price as soon as Wednesday.

BNP Paribas Securities Corp., Citigroup Global Markets Inc. and HSBC Securities are the bookrunners for the Rule 144A and Regulation S deal.

The mobile phone company is based in Istanbul.
