Moody's: Trustmark view negative

Moody's Investors Service said it affirmed the ratings of Trustmark Corp. and its operating bank subsidiary, Trustmark National Bank, and changed the outlook to negative from stable.

Moody's said the affirmation of the ratings and the negative outlook on Trustmark is in response to Trustmark's announcement that it signed a definitive agreement to acquire BancTrust Financial Group, Inc. of Mobile, Ala.
